Career Survey Results (.ppt)
Thanks to all of you, over a thousand California Community College students responded to a statewide career center marketing research survey. From our survey we were able to gather information about our primary customer, our students. We learned more about the kinds of services they wanted. And we learned more about how they wanted to receive or access those services. We plan to use this data to help create a unique and universal brand for all 109 Community College Career Centers and to design cost-effective, innovative tools and services that will make a decided difference in the lives of our students. We want you to continue to participate in this process. Please take a few minutes to review the key survey findings and to answer questions about the students you serve. Your feedback will help us create the kinds of experiences and brand that will help us grow all 109 of California’s Community College Career Centers.

- Who is your target audience? Who are the students you serve and or wish to serve?
- Who competes with you? What stands in the way of students using your center?
- How do students benefit by using your career services? List the benefits a student gets from using your programs or services.
- Why should students believe you can deliver these services and benefits to them? What proof do you offer students that using your services will benefit them?
For those of you who are as excited about this project as we are, we would love for you to conduct one or more student focus groups to learn more about what your students want from your center, and what they think about the services they now receive.
